This wine is of age-old fame and produced in its namesake municipality in the Province of Novara. It is based on the Nebbiolo cultivar, blended with a minimum percentage of Vespolina and Bonarda novarese. It is ruby red in colour, with a refined perfume of violets, and has a dry, sapid and harmonic taste. The minimum alcohol content is at 12% and undergoes an aging period of 3 years. Fara wines are ideally paired with roasts.
