Vegetables, fruits and cereals

Piedmont's abundance of fruit and vegetables is represented by its biodiversity, the approximately 90 traditional products and the production of quality-recognised goods:
from the Piedmont Hazelnut to the Cuneo chestnut and the Susa Valley "Marrone" (a chestnut variety) among others, expressing the high levels of quality and food safety standards, heavy investments in research and innovation, by a widespread system of agronomic and environmentally-sound cultivation practices.
