Piedmont's rich and prestigious food and wine traditions stem from its various agricultural productions. Dishes are enhanced by condiments that are considered themselves specialties and traditional products of Piedmont: from the Bagna Cauda, for the triumph of its raw and cooked vegetables and legumes, to the Cognà or grape mustard, that enhance the cheeses of the territory; and then there's the Bagnet and its sauces that make the boiled stew from Piedmont a myth.
