The reasons of the Earth

The ‘Le ragioni della terra. Parole, gesti e storie dell'agricoltura piemontese’ project by the Piedmont Region Agricultural Department in collaboration with the ‘Granai della memoria’ (Granaries of Memory) Laboratory of the University of Gastronomical Sciences, was established in spring 2017 with the aim of identifying, selecting and collecting testimonies representing the territorial, cultural and entrepreneurial complexity and diversity of the agricultural system in Piedmont.

Discovering the ORGANIC Farms of Piedmont

“Discovering the ORGANIC Farms of Piedmont" is a project promoted by the Piedmont Region, Unioncamere Piemonte and the Turin Chamber of Commerce Chemical Laboratory, created to tell the story of the main Piedmontese organic crops and their supply chains through the story of a selection of 9 educational farms. each company produced three informative videos intended for primary and secondary school students aimed at simulating an on-site visit and providing information on the activity and on the agronomic and nutritional aspects of organic production.

Discovering the ORGANIC Farms of Piedmont

Harvest time, story time

Fifteen Piedmontese companies, fifteen stories united by the love of food and the sense of belonging to a territory to take care of.

The protagonists are growers, breeders, traditional businesses, family wineries, consortia, local action groups. The interviews convey the economic and social value of their work in contact with the environment and communities, from rice fields to woods, from mountain valleys to hills.
