Boca Wine
The production zone of the Boca covers the municipality with the same name, and part of all those bordering communes in the province of Novara. It is produced with Nebbiolo grapes, locally called Spanna, and the Vespolina and Bonarda novarese varieties.
It is of a brilliant ruby red colour with light garnet hues, and has a characteristic scent, with hints of violets, a dry, harmonic taste with an aftertaste of pomegranate.
It must be aged for at least 3 years with a minimum alcohol content of twelve degrees. At meals, it is preferably paired with roasts.
