History
The Asionot were the favourite treats of the Countess Marianna Buronzo Signor, a noblewoman whose family governed our country from 1650 to 1856.
They were offered to guests at large parties. The secret recipe was kept for about a century but in 1975, a well known pastry chef from Asigliano got hold of it and began producing them, hence the name.
