CARMAGNOLA OX-HORN PEPPERS
The cultivation area may have four different types of yellow and red peppers.
Quadrato: almost a cube with 3-4 lobes with marked furrowsalong the sides, medium-big in size and weighs about 300-400 g and the average thickness of the epicarp is 6 mm; the berry is yellow or red and the flesh is sweet. ;
Lungo or buffalow horned: the long very elongated shape with 3-4 lobes, regular and slightly furrowed surface, length of about 20 cm, weight of 150-250 g and average thicknessof the epicarp of 5 mm; the berry is yellow or red and the flesh is compact and sweet.
Trottola (or Cuneo): heart-shaped with three 3 lobes, furrowed surface and medium-big in size and unit weight of 300-400 g and average thickness of the pericarp of 7 mm; the berry is yellow or red and the flesh is sweet. ha una colorazione gialla o rossa e la polpa è dolce.
Tomaticòt: roundish and flattened at the tips, furrowed surface, average size with unit weight of 150-250 g and average thickness of epicarp of 7 mm; the berry is yellow or red and the flesh is sweet.
